Join WIU Performing Arts Society for Wine Tasting Nov. 14

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Performing Arts Society (PAS) is excited to host a wine tasting from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Park Place of Macomb, 127 E. Carroll St.
Attendees will enjoy sampling from a wide variety of domestic and international wines, delicious hors d'oeuvres, live music, a silent auction and comparing tasting notes with fellow wine lovers. In addition to the 40 wines available for tasting, wine tasters will be greeted with a glass of bubbly in a souvenir wine glass and will have the opportunity to taste a special release wine at 8 p.m.
Reservations are $45 for the full wine-tasting experience; $15 to enjoy the event without wine. All attendees must be at least 21 years old. All proceeds will benefit programs of the PAS.
PAS supports the creation of arts, arts education and access to arts (particularly youth access) through grants, scholarships and programming including the Youth Performing Arts Series at WIU; SummerStage; the WIU Community Music School; and WIU, Community, and K-12 schools arts grants. More information about PAS will be available at the event. Financial support comes from funds raised through individual memberships, corporate sponsorships and social fundraising functions.
