WIU Faculty and Staff Invited to Join 2025 Homecoming Door Decorating Contest

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's Civil Service Employees Council (CSEC) and Council of Administrative Personnel (COAP) are inviting all faculty and staff to show their Leatherneck pride by participating in the 2025 Homecoming Door Decorating Contest.

This spirited event encourages departments across both campuses to showcase their creativity and enthusiasm for WIU's Homecoming theme, "Bring It On." Faculty and staff are encouraged to decorate their office doors with school colors, mascots and Homecoming flair.

Judging will take place from 1–3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15. Doors will be evaluated by members of COAP and CSEC based on creativity, school spirit and overall presentation.

Participants on the Quad Cities campus are asked to submit a photo of their decorated door to kj-severs@wiu.edu by 2 p.m. on judging day to be included in the competition.

To ensure that all entries are judged, participants must sign up at the link provided in the campus announcement.
Prizes and bragging rights are at stake, but the event is all about having fun and celebrating WIU spirit. Whether the designs are funny, sentimental or wildly imaginative, all efforts are encouraged and appreciated.
