WIU Faculty and Students to Perform with Knox-Galesburg Symphony Sept. 27

MACOMB, IL - - Several Western Illinois University faculty and students will be performing with the Knox-Galesburg Symphony for its upcoming concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Orpheum Theatre in Galesburg.

The evening's program will feature an array of American classics, including Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" and "Lincoln Portrait," Samuel Barber's "Adagio" for Strings and George Gershwin's "An American in Paris."

Student tickets are $5, offering an accessible opportunity for audiences to experience live orchestral music performed in a historic setting.
