WIU Spring 2025 Family and Friends Weekend: April 11-13

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University will hold its annual Family and Friends Weekend from Friday, April 11 - Sunday, April 13. The weekend will feature several events for students and their guests to enjoy, including bingo, brunch, crafts, concerts and more.

WIU's 2025 Family and Friends Weekend has something for everyone in the family. Friday's events include the Lee Calhoun High School Invitational, Battle of the Yard and the Choral Masterworks Concert. Meanwhile, the WIU Bookstore will have special discounts available throughout the weekend.

Saturday's events include: Pastries with the President, Alpha Gamma Rho Charity Golf Outing, Make It Macomb, Grad Blast Send Off, Monopoly & Mocktails with the Mayor, Photos with Ray and UUB Bingo. Families and students will also have the opportunity to support women's athletics with volleyball, tennis and soccer matches, enjoy the Spring Recital Showcase and stop by the University Exhibition Gallery to view student artwork.

On Sunday, families can grab brunch with the students at the WIU Dining Centers and join The President's International String Quartet Recital.
