Mitchem Earns Iowa Museum Association Scholarship

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - Western Illinois University proudly celebrates Museum Studies graduate student Allie Mitchem for earning an Iowa Museum Association 2025 Conference Scholarship.

The IMA offers three scholarships to students each year, covering the conference registration fee. Mitchem said receiving this scholarship is an honor and she can't wait to attend this year's event.

"I look forward to learning from the brilliant colleagues presenting at this year's conference," Mitchem said. "I hope to gain new perspectives and build my network through meaningful connections."

This year's conference will be held from Sunday, April 27 to Tuesday, April 29, in Cedar Rapids, IA, and feature John H. Falk, founder and CEO of the Institute for Learning Innovation and professor emeritus of Free-Choice Learning at Oregon State University.
