WIU Joins ZeeMee to Meet Prospective Students

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University is partnering with ZeeMee, a social media app that helps students during their college decision journey.

ZeeMee is a tool that connects students with other students, college admissions officers and potential roommates. Students have exclusive chat channels to ask a current WIU student or admissions counselor questions about their school choice.

After WIU launched on this platform last week, 1,055 students joined the channel to start communicating with each other.

WIU plans to host engagement activities on ZeeMee such as trivia, events for finding new friends and regular live Q&A sessions with current WIU admissions student ambassadors.
