Ag Council to Host Mac and Cheese Cookoff

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Ag Council will host a Mac and Cheese Cookoff fundraiser from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, at The American Legion on East Washington Street.

The WIU Ag Council will be hosting a "Mac and Cheese Cookoff" among all the student organizations in the School of Agriculture to find out who has the best recipe. The funds raised will be used for the Ag Banquet event to be held in April of this year.

Ticket prices are $8 pre-paid and $10 at the door on the night of the event. Children 10 and under will be covered with the purchase of an adult ticket (one child per ticket).

The event is open to all, including WIU staff, faculty, students and the Macomb community. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose the best mac and cheese recipe of the night.

The Ag Council encourages all to participate and vote for a winner.
