WIU Will Begin Sending Financial Aid Award Letters to Current and Prospective Students

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - - While delays continue in processing the 2024-25 FAFSA, Western Illinois University will begin sending out estimated award offers to current students and prospective freshmen and transfer students soon.
Students who don't receive an estimated award offer can continue to use the Net Price Calculator, which is utilizing the same components used to file the FAFSA to get an estimate of a student's financial aid.
Western is in the process of upgrading a homegrown system to begin implementing a system by Regent Education, a leader in SaaS-based financial aid and scholarship management solutions. The new financial aid management (FAM) solution will modernize and automate financial aid management for WIU while also providing the capabilities needed to comply with FAFSA Simplification.
