WIU Libraries to Host Poetry Garden Party Tomorrow

MACOMB, IL - - For National Poetry Month, the Western Illinois University Libraries will host a Poetry Garden Party from noon-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 in the Malpass Library Garden Lounge. All students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.

All attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch and read aloud a published poem or an original poem of their choice. If you do not have a poem, all are welcome to come and listen or select a poem from the library book provided at the event.

Cookies will be provided and donated by Professor Barbara Lawhorn of the English Department.
