On May 8 at 12:32 p.m. Akil Coleman, 24, of 902 Thompson Hall, was arrested in the Thompson parking lot on an outstanding Mcdonough County warrant. He was transported to the McDonough County Jail at 1:24 where he was lodged.

On May 8 at 2:29 p.m., OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to an alarm on the 14th floor of Thompson Hall. No smoke, fire, or injuries were reported.
