2024-01-31 to 2024-02-02

On Jan. 31 at 4:32 p.m., OPS and the Macomb Fire Department responded to a report of smoke in the Knoblauch Hall parking lot that appeared to be coming from a vehicle. The vehicle seemed to be leaking oil. No fire or injuries were reported.

On Feb. 1 at 10:26 p.m., Rodney Daniels Jr., 20, of 1312 Thompson Hall, was arrested for battery, mob action, and home invasion for an incident that occurred on campus on Jan. 31. He was transported to McDonough County Jail at 10:34 p.m. with a mandatory court date on March 6.

On Feb. 2 at 12:05 a.m., Amaya Palmer, 19, of 1535 Thompson Hall, was arrested for an active McDonough County warrant. She was transported to McDonough County Jail at 12:43 a.m.
