International Student Admissions Documentation & Deadline
Kim McDaniel, Study Abroad Advisor (kd-mcdaniel@wiu.edu), will send an email to you after you have been nominated by your home school. The following documents will need to be submitted; the preferred application deadline for Fall 2024 is March 1 with a firm deadline of April 1.
- Submit the international application .
- Submit the following additional documents to
International-Ed@wiu.edu
:
- An official transcript (sent directly from the school). The exchange coordinator or other school official can email the transcript.
- Copy of your passport.
- Financial information (in English) details on the amount required is found on the Immigration webpage .
After International Admissions receives the application and all required documents, they will issue an admission letter and I-20. They will notify you when the documents are ready and give you shipping options. The admission letter provides information about the mandatory orientation and dates.
