Advice for Freshmen:
Be grateful every day, enjoy the full college experience, and build deep relationships along the way. Take advantage of everything college life on campus has to offer – every meal is an opportunity to be had with a friend or future bestie, get a group together and attend every home football and basketball game regardless of the season record, and make every Goldfarb Center for Performing Arts performance a special date night. Committing to doing summer internships each year to differentiate yourself and ensure you are excited to engage in a post-college career in your major.

Favorite WIU Memory: Four years full of favorite memories and countless stories – which have continued for 45+ years now since graduating from WIU still traveling and getting together with over two dozen fellow-Leathernecks that we meet up with regularly even though we are spread across the country.

Family Information/Special Interests and Hobbies: When not traveling, my wife, Pam, and I split our time between a home on the beach on the panhandle in Seagrove Beach, FL and a home in Atlanta, GA. We enjoy fine wine and dinners with friends, and I await the day I am old enough to shoot my age at that frustrating game known as golf.
