College Student Personnel: Higher Education Leadership track (Quad Cities)

Our part-time option (often referred to as the Higher Education Leadership track) serves the educational and logistical needs of professionals like you who are currently engaged in student affairs (or closely related) work in a professional capacity and want to earn your Master's degree simultaneously.

  • The curriculum supports a 38-credit, two-year Master of Science program that meets CAS standards, the most comprehensive and rigorous graduate preparation program standards within higher education. Click here for more information on degree requirements.
  • While the CSP program was established in 1970, The Higher Education Leadership track began its inaugural year in Fall 2015 and enrolls new students bi-annually with Summer 2021 as the next scheduled matriculation date. In some circumstances, we are able to enroll new students outside of this timetable. Please ask us about this possibility by emailing: csp@wiu.edu Click here for the application timeline and process.
  • Part-time courses are offered in hybrid format that blends in-person and on-line learning environments based out of the WIU-Quad Cities campus.
  • A theory-to-practice model means that the application of classroom concepts to real-world student affairs work is a critical part of your classroom discussions and course assignments.
  • In a small cohort of professionals, you and your colleagues will learn and support each other as students and student affair professionals.
