Western High School Scholarship
The annual Western High School Scholarship has been awarded to Melissa Downin of Table Grove, who is studying teacher education at WIU. Attached is a photo of the presentation, made by WHS alumni Betsy Hommel '68 and Dr. Darlos Mummert '69. This photo appeared in the recent WIU alumni newsletter, the "Western News." This is the second time the award has been made.
What a great way to contribute to the education of our youth while preserving the legacy of our beloved school!
The funding for the scholarship comes solely from alumni like you. Please consider contributing so that we can continue to award this scholarship to deserving WIU students on a yearly basis.
