- World War II Living History Exhibit
- Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Location: Campus mall between Morgan Hall and the Western Rec Center
- Description: WIU Alumnus Adam Bednar will bring his troop of professional World War II reenactors to the Macomb campus for a two-day living history exhibit. The reenactors will portray soldiers of various nationalities who fought in World War II: American, British, German, Russian, and Finnish. Reenactors will be costumed in authentic military uniforms and display authentic military equipment and non-functioning firearms. Reenactors will explain the typical backgrounds, experiences, and struggles of soldiers facing day-to-day life in World War II. The public is welcome to visit the exhibit and interact with the reenactors.
