- President Mindrup Community Reception and 2025 Town and Gown Awards

- Description: The inauguration of WIU President Kristi Mindrup as its 13th president on Thursday, Oct. 16.
The day will culminate with a community reception from 4:30-7 p.m. at Park Place in Macomb (127 E. Carroll St.) featuring live music, appetizers and remarks from Macomb Mayor Mike Inman. The 2025 Town & Gown and Honorary Alumni awards will also be presented at this event. The reception is open to the public and RSVP is encouraged.
