Korean-American saxophonist, Eugene Ryoo, brings a dynamic blend of performance, entrepreneurship, and audio production expertise. He is a dedicated educator and performer, committed to innovation.

His commitment to arts education is evident through his work as a founding member and Vice President of IOWinds Alliance, a music nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering musical enrichment and community engagement through performances and educational programs.

With a robust background in audio production, Eugene served as an Audio Engineer Assistant at the University of Iowa’s School of Music, capturing and delivering high-quality audio and video for live concerts and studio sessions.

Eugene is currently ABD, finishing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Saxophone Performance with a secondary area in Chamber Music Entrepreneurship from the University of Iowa. He holds degrees from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the University of Texas at Austin.
