| A couple of things before we start: There is no full
text in this database. This doesn't mean you can't get full text--but it
does mean that you will have to use the
Periodicals Holdings List (to
see if we subscribe to the journal which your citation refers to) or
Interlibrary Loan--if we
do not subscribe to the journal. Interlibrary Loan takes about 10 working
days (two calendar weeks) to get articles to you. You may order 5
articles a day. |

For example, simply typing in "yarn" yields 57,000 + hits.
Way too many |

Adding the field code "su" (for subject) causes
7,000 hits to drop out. Better, but still too many |
| |
|

| |
| Adding the word "finishes" drops it to 1074. Much
better--but even so still too many. However, note that using the "su" for
your main subject area and bringing in a second term drops the results
dramatically. Generally speaking, this will always be the case. |

| The zr field code allows us to search by year. This
is a field code that is not listed in the drop box--but it's a handy way to
search. To see unlisted filed codes, click
here or at
the top of the page. Note that we cordoned off this part of the search with
parentheses and used OR. If we had not done this we would have gotten an
error or would have gotten junk. The search below results in about 60 hits.
