To see examples of the Title search in each of WIU's three ERIC interfaces, click here.
If you are having trouble narrowing your search or cannot locate any descriptors that match your topic, try searching the Title field.
For example, suppose you are in a hurry to locate journal articles on reading skills for high school age students. In the free version of ERIC you could run the following search, which returns 21 articles.

The truth is there are probably many more articles on this topic, but to find them we would need to know the descriptor for reading skills. I assumed that anyone doing research would know to use "secondary education" and "instruction" as descriptors. However, those could have been left as keywords.
