Visible Analyst Login Procedure

1. Go to the computer lab (S307, S331, etc.), & log in as yourself.

2. Go to the Lab folder.

3. Double-Click Install Lab Applications.

4. Select Visible Analyst from the application listing and click “Add”. This will initiate the install process; when you see the “Done” message, click “OK”.

5. Close all the open windows.

6. Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS and launch either the Visible Analyst program or the tutorial.

7. Login with the user id: VA1 – leave the password blank.

8. Have fun!

NOTE: The installation procedure installs Visible Analyst only on that particular machine where you do the install procedure. The program is resident on that particular machine only until the machine is re-imaged (approximately every two (2) weeks) when the extraneous files on the machine are removed.

>>>ANY PROJECT FILES STORED TO THE HARD DRIVE COULD BE ERASED AT ANY TIME!

CREATE AND SAVE YOUR PROJECTS TO AN EXTERNAL DEVICE (Jump Drives are preferred - 3-1/2” floppies are not large enough to hold the files; CD-RWs take to long to burn).
