IDSM ~ Parking Information

Here is information about parking for the In-Depth Secondary Mathematics (IDSM) workshops to be held June 23-25, 2003.

There are basically three options for getting a parking pass:

1. If you would like to get a Parking Pass mailed to you before the workshops, call Gail Ault (309/298-1054), Mathematics Department secretary and tell her your car's license plate number.
2. If, on June 23rd, you wish to park your car, walk to Morgan Hall (room 224) get your parking pass and walk it back out to your car, please call call Gail Ault (309/298-1054), Mathematics Department secretary and tell her your car's license plate number and she will get the parking pass ready for you. If this is your strategy, please plan to arrive by about 8:10 a.m.
3. If you are willing to pick up your own Parking Pass, you may do so at Parking Services in Mowbray Hall (phone: (309) 298-1921) on the morning of June 23 (they open at 7:30 a.m.). Mowbray Hall is on the south side of Murray Street across the street from the University Union (and slightly east of the Union).

Make sure you get a pass that works for all three days!

Note that:

• Workshop participants who are not taking it for WIU credit can get a visitor's parking pass for free, but they must provide their license plate number. The visitor's parking pass will be dated and can work for a week.
• Workshop participants who are taking it for WIU credit need to pay $2 for a temporary parking pass (and I'm assuming they must provide their license plate number). The temporary parking pass works for a week.

We will try to have some parking passes available at the workshop for those that don't have one.

Of course if you already have a WIU hang tag, you may use it.

This three day workshop will meet in Morgan Hall 224 on the WIU campus (NOTE this location change). The workshops will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a break for lunch (lunch is provided).
