The fall Mini-Conference is currently on hold.

We are resuming our Annual Western Illinois University Mathematics Teachers' Conference in spring 2023. The date is April 14, 2023.

Past information on this confernce is below.

The pandemic caused us to discontinue the mini-conference

This mini-conference was generally held in Macomb on even years and in the Quad Cities in odd years.

2019 Mini-Conference will be November 21 in the Quad Cities

We are looking for speakers

We have our speakers for this year, but we are always looking for speakers for next year. On the even years the Mini-Conference is held in Macomb. In odd years, it is in the Quad Cities. We are looking for speakers to speak on topics of interest to grade 7-12 teachers. If you would like to speak, or know of a speaker, contact Jim Olsen (JR-Olsen@wiu.edu) or Bob Mann (RR-Mann@wiu.edu).

This event is organized by Jim Olsen and Bob Mann.
This event is partially funded by the WCCTM [West Central Council of Teaachers of Mathematics]. In years 1 and 2, this event was partially funded by a Title II Teacher Quality-Leadership/Race To The Top Grant, received from the ISBE by Drs. Olsen and Mann of the WIU Math Department. The miniconference began in November of 2014. (The Mini-Conference for 2018 was not held.)
Our plan for the future is to hold it in Macomb on the even years and in the Quad Cities in the odd years.
This event does not replace our full conference, which is held each spring. Plan to attend the Annual Western Illinois University Mathematics Teachers Conference.
