Dates

All coaching and contest sessions are scheduled for 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Edison School, room 110, usually on Mondays.
The following have signed up to contribute snacks. Please bring the snack to Edison Room 110 by 2:50 on your date. Keep it simple please. If there is an open date in the chart below and you'd like to volunteer, please e-mail Robert Mann.

MOEMS is the Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools (description). This program was started in 1977. MOEMS was started at Edison School in December 2005. The entry fee for the Edison School Team was paid for by Macomb School District Funds.

The Goals of the Math Olympiads Program are:

To stimulate enthusiasm and a love for Mathematics
To introduce important Mathematical concepts
To teach major strategies for problem solving
To develop Mathematical flexibility in solving problems
To strengthen Mathematical intuition
To foster Mathematical creativity and ingenuity
To provide for the satisfaction, joy, and thrill of meeting challenges.
