1.    Dial either 

2.    Wait for the tone.

3.    Enter the following sequence: 

      where

            x is a priority code, 1 being the highest and 3 being the lowest
            and nnn-nnnn is your telephone number.

      This is the number at which I am to call you back.

      You may enter more than seven digits if this is a long distance dial.

4.    Hang up the phone when you get the confirmatory sequece of beeps.

5.    Please try to keep the number at which I am to call you backin a non-busy state.

      Also, if you are at a number which someone else might answer, please let them know
      that you are expecting a page from me. That way when I identify myself as
      "Dr. Laurence Leff returning a page from this number, " they know who to bring to
      the phone.

      NOTES:

      The 800 number will work in all or most of Illinois. Those outside of this area should
      use the 309 number which will work anywhere.

      This only works from a touch-tone phone. Some phones have buttons but are not truly  touch-tone. You can recognise this problem: you will hear clicks when you dial instead
      of beeps.
