Assignment One
Research and Report
I have divided the class right down the middle (according to the roster) into two groups. Group One consists of Al-Dhlaan, Crary, Dammas, John, and Mori. Group Two consists of Neely, Sevanandam, Soo, Tengshe, and Yang. Each group will research their assigned topic and produce a Web page that represents a summary report. Deliverables include a web page of quality design that contains introductory material, a detailed summary of the information you found on your topic (particularly as it relates to this course), a statement from the group addressing how the topic will impact the "real world" and a set of links to other pages. In addition, each group will submit (on paper) a set of five questions that could be answered by someone who had studied that group's web page. For these questions, think short quiz rather than essay test. Your work must be submitted no later than 4:30 on Monday, Feb. 5.

A final tip: Simply duplicating the information from one site is not sufficient. For example, group 2 should not just go to Intel's site and reprint what they find there. I want some serious data collection before you write your report. If the pages are good enough, I'll make them available from my home page. Enjoy!
