This semester we have three core groups of texts: two books, about twenty-five articles which can be found on the web, and an assortment of free software.
Books
Please purchase the following texts immediately.

- McLeod, Kembrew. Freedom of Expression: Resistance and Repression in the Age of Intellectual Property U of Minnesota P, 2007. ISBN: 0816650314 (The 2005 edition, from Random House, is also acceptable.)
Online readings

If you want to print articles, I have made a readings directory so we can have common page numbering. These files are PDFS; the week number is in the article name.
Software
Please download and install this software on the computers you use most often. All of it should be available in our classroom laboratory.
