Goals
For this scenario: students enrolled in our class, using the
syllabus to find readings, both what to read and when. Assume the main
page of the syllabus or weblog is the start page.
- Efficient: Students will be able to find out what to read in less than a minute, and will be able to print or download the assignment in less than five minutes.
- Effective: No student will be confused what to read in any week. If possible, further guidance will be provided (e.g. what to read for what day).
- Engaging: Students will be encouraged to comment on the readings by the ease and proximity of the weblog, and will find the use of del.icio.us attractive for research purposes.
- Error Tolerant: Any student with questions about readings
will use the weblog to ask for clarification.
- Easy to Learn: No student will require help with the schedule. No more than 25% of students will require help with the tagging system use on del.icio.us.
