10/13: Portfolio due date extension; no class 10/15.
Because I am benevolent and merciful, I have extended the due date for the portfolio to
Monday, October 18. (Turn it in Friday, October 15 for a few bonus points.) Also, class for 10/15
is cancelled.
10/06: Portfolio commentaries.
After grading the portfolio drafts, I’ve prepared a list of the comments
I made most frequently.
10/04: Portfolio peer review; RX F date change.
I’ve posted the peer review assignment for the portfolio.
Also, please note that RX F is now due Friday, October 8.
9/20: New office hours.
My office hours are now Monday and Wednesday 10:00-11:30 am, and Thursday 12:30-2:00 pm.

I posted a sample rhetorical exercise,
and will add another one soon.
8/23: Syllabus posted.
I have posted the syllabus, the
rhetorical exercises handout, and the writing portfolio assignment. I am still
working on a few other materials which I’ll distribute in the
next weeks.
