Notes
These notes provide a brief overview of what has been covered in class
throughout the semester. Notes are not provided for all classes.
- September
- 9/29, 10/01, and 10/03: Studio work on group part of Project One.
- 9/26: Today we worked on Web pages using the HTML handout
provided in the resources portion of the syllabus. We covered basic
principles and learned how to make links. Students made pages and
saved them to disk.
- 9/24: Discussion of Part One of Understanding Media,
starting from eight points volunteered by students.
- 9/22: Full review of Project Two assignment. Suggestions for
reading Understanding Media.
More on the basics of Web authoring.
- 9/19: Class optional; brief review of Project Two assignment.
- 9/17: Introduction, history, and info about web pages.
- 9/15: MOO basics and introduction using the MOO Connections.
Also went over changes to response paper schedule: all due on Mondays now,
except for one on 9/24.
