Many WIU web sites are inaccessible to people who use assistive browsing technologies such as screen readers. This site is designed to help WIU web managers change that. With a little planning and attention to relevant standards and laws, such as the IITAA, we can make WIU’s web sites much more accessible to all of our students, faculty, and staff.
This site provides a variety of materials which I believe will be useful for WIU web managers. I welcome your feedback about the documentation we’ve prepared, as well as the other things I’ve recommended here.
If you can volunteer a few hours of your time for specific tasks which will help me improve these resources, please let me know!
