Physics 101 - Galaxy worksheet
These links take you to a selection of images of galaxies. Using the Hubble
"tuning fork" classification of galaxies

make notes of the various features you
see in these galaxies. Use a blank sheet of paper, then just write the galaxy
name and make some comments about its features: spiral arms, H II regions, OB
associations, dust lanes, etc. Do all of these for credit.
